Seriously delicious. I admit to not really needing it for the purpose of lactation— my supply seemed fine, but I figured I’d it did help, that was just icing on the cake. More than anything they were super helpful at staving my hunger during those middle of the night feedings.

I’ve made this recipe at least 15 times; and you’re right— they freeze beautifully.

I printed out the recipe and handed it out at my breastfeeding support group along with a batch to share. I’ve also written it out on notecards to give along with at least 4 baby gifts/cards for friends who delivered after me. I can’t say enough how good (and easy) these are. Even my husband likes them—Lol. So some of those aforementioned batches
were for him. Thanks again! 🙂

Looking forward to making these! Question: I can’t do coconut oil, so I was going to use butter since we are not having a dairy issue right now. Do I use a 1/2 c of butter or is there a different amount to use if subbing out the coconut oil? Thanks!

Just wondering if you ended up making the egg free version? What’s a good egg free substitute?

I usually just eat one a day. Sometimes two.

And, are you eating them every day? My husband made them and they’re so good, so I wouldn’t be mad if you told me I had to eat a bunch, but I also don’t want to go crazy on the sweets.

I usually have good luck freezing cookies but I’ve never tried ones with coconut oil. I think they would work. I usually just use a cookie scoop to put them on a plate, stick that in the freezer until they freeze and then transfer them to a ziploc bag. then just pull them out and bake.
